Hey, I've had that problem! Get a good cleanser with bleach (there are a couple of bigger brand names), the powder kind that comes in a shaker can. You'll also need a good scouring brush, and elbow grease! The brush is important to break the bond between dirt and tub. Also make sure to wear old clothes, you can't help getting bleach marks when using that stuff!

Use Lysol Disinfectant Bathroom cleaner. It will remove the worst soap scum and dirt. If it is really bad spray and let it set then use a scrubbie and it will clean it really well and make it shine. This is the best shower cleaner that I have found. The smell can be a little strong but it cleans great and my shower isn't ever really that bad.

I found when the standard cleaning products don't get the grime in the shower, I use baking soda. Just dump some on the built up grime on the floor. Add enough water to make a paste, then scrub with a stiff scrub brush. You may have to repeat.

If you have hard water, go with the pumice stone. It does work wonders. Then scrub with Comet as a follow up. To keep clean, there's the choice of the once-a-day cleaner, but I just keep a bottle of scrub-free in my bathroom and spray everywhere after a shower, with a once-a-week wipedown with Clorox wipes. Voila, no more buildup.

If you want it to get clean asap you will have to do it. use a magic eraser like others suggested and buy one of those self cleaning things for the shower. they are only like $20 and they clean the shower so it doesnt get so dirty.

This may sound weird but try using easy off spray for ovens....spray it on in the tub/shower and shut the bathroom door... leave it there for 30 mins then go wipe off with hot water!

Comet or soft scrub and lots of elbow grease until it's clean, and rinse well. After that, after you shower, spray down with diluted lysol and wipe down, or use a little baking soda on the more stubborn dirt. It works for me!
