Whatever you say about my Yankees can't bring me down because I'm just glad to watch them play!
The two teams are a great match-up! I've waited for this forever!
Besides~ Don't you know the Yankees won the 1st game
of the doubleheader 2-1?
I'd say that cancels out the 5-3 Tigers win of the 2nd game.
They're back to square one as far as I'm concerned.
Tomorrow will be the deciding factor on who gets bragging rights!

( BTW ~ I'd be rooting for the Tigers if they weren't playing the Yankees! )

What a stupid statement, you must be a disgruntled Red Sox fan. Both are contending teams and played as such. At least they're not 8+ games back and playing like a minor league team.
By the way, Yanks won the Detroit series...guess the "kitties" are going home losers.

ok seeing that the yankees have already won the season series? that sure makes the tigers the better team. only times tigers can beat the yankees is when rivera is unable to close or in this case Torre was a dumb *** and should have used him.
