Fish will only grow as large as their enviorment allows.
You should keep those kinds of fish away from the angel fish.
A different tank or a divider in the one you have should do it.

Yes, research would be in order. Neon tetras are the natural prey of angels, which would explain a lot I guess . . . Angels are cichlids, and most cichlids are aggressive and territorial, angels are no exception. They will do best with fishes too big to eat, but steer clear of barbs, which are known for nipping fins and will harass them

You must have your fish in a large tank...the more room you give them, the bigger they'll get. Try a smaller tank or don't put anything else in the aquarium. If angle fish get that big, they get very aggressive. Good luck

Maybe do your research on the fish you purchase.
People will tell you to buy a smaller tank, but that is inhumane for the fish. They require a certain size.
maybe look to purchase larger fish that are compatible with the angel fish. Talk to a person at the aquarium about the different fish that you can add to your tank.
Good luck!!!!

You have to keep them in a separate small bowl. I use to use a small top glass vase because if you don't they will jump out. You can't keep two together or one will kill the other and defiantly not with smaller fish. They will even attack bigger fish and you will then see the fins or tail chewed on the bigger fish.

Well, an old boyfriend of mine that worked in a pet store said that fish give off some kind of chemical that fills the water letting them know how big their environment will let them get. So, don't do complete water changes that often and you should be fine.

You can always eat them.
No, Angel fish are actually a predator fish, they will always eat smaller fish...
My suggestion is to add fish that are their size, they wont bother with anything close to it's size or even a bit smaller.

Angelfish are a type of cichlid, which is generally an agressive or semiagressive fish. It is in their nature to attack smaller fish. You should only put larger non agressive fish in there with them.

You can't keep them from getting bigger.well, if you put the angel fish by itself it can't kill the other fish. Thats all I can think of to do. thats just like my betta fish you just can't put other fish in with it.
