Its a mystery to me also. Its like our fellow Americans have been hypnotized. When given a new Boogie man terrorist invention by the hypnotists (Bush, Cheney,Rumsfeld) the ones still under the spell parrot them as if the wizard of oz has spoken. They seem unable to break the spell - completely devoid of independent thought or rationale. Just as we have never had a complete explanation for why we invaded Iraq and no exit plan, we have yet to hear an explanation of who and what these "Islamic-Fascist" are (other than a new Boogie Man of the month).

What makes you think that people are "FOLLOWING" Bush, maybe they voted for him because he was doing what they wanted him to do. I voted for Bush in '04 (Gore in 2000) precisely because he was doing what I hoped the previous presidents would do and that it is to slap Saddam Hussein around. Bush senior listened to the UN and didn't g to Baghdad because the mission wasn't to remove Saddam but just to get him out of Kuwait. What did that leave the US with but some crazed maniac bent on eventual revenge against us. Then in 1996, Clinton started Desertfox but didn't finish the job either. In 1979, Iran took Americans hostage, at that time not only was I not a US citizen, I was a youngster and I had never even set foot in the US. Nonetheless I have been waiting since then for the US to take care of that insane regime. I was hoping that Bush would do the job but if he doesn't I will vote for the guy that I think is most likely to do the job!

I have never been to washington or observed in person my states government in session at the capital. But to say the least and avoid a long essay, our bureaucracy may be one answer.
This endless void of redtape employs millions. They have families and benefits that are second to none. To lose a promising job is part of todays strong arm of politics in choosing those to be outcast . To them, its OK to support those issues that put money in their pockets and live a middle or above middle income life.
The same goes with contractors. We as regular Americans wish our government would stop the blind spending that is part of a trickle down theory. But because of the years of watch dog groups influencing the creation of checks and balances within the flow of money agencies, then it is something people just can't seem to get out of, GREED.
We don't live in a country like yesterday. It is filled with money corrupting every nook and pocket available. More people need to open their eyes.
Please read the link below, it is astonishing to say the least.

I will never understand people who "flip-flop" on every issue and leave their loyalty at the door because of every left wing media slanted story and manipulation of the truth by the far left of the democrat party.
What about the people who STILL think Bill Clinton was something other than an adulterous letch taking advantage of his power for personal gain.

It's only "blind loyalty" if your ignorant in your support.
Right now, I personally believe the greatest threat to our way of life is Islamic terrorists - and, with that said, I can't imagine having a Jimmy Carter in office right now.
Each time we ignored the terrorists, they responded with more terror attacks. This time - whether the methods and plans were right or wrong - we responded with military action and we haven't had a terrorist attack to date.
See a pattern here?

I respectfully disagree with you. I believe that he is one of the best presidents we have had in a long time. I was also a fan of Reagan and Bush the first one. He has really stepped up and has had disaster upon disaster thrust upon him to deal with and I think he has done a great job. Sure beats getting a BJ in the oval office!

Blind loyalty? I voted for GW and I know he has made mistakes but they were honest mistakes. He has our well being at heart so I support him. You, on the other hand, are handing your future to a sex pervert, peanut farmer, fake war hero, murderer by drowning, and other scumbags that I can not even think of at this time as your blind accusations are so irritating that they are interfering with my thought process.

They are the most mentally deficiant of the populace. If they cannot see or figure out that he is driving Amerca into the ground with his divisive tactics. His war was wrong and he has made many "mistakes" so far during his term in office. Some of those were not mistakes as he is enriching himself and others with these decisions. They are actually criminal.

The same way I never understood how clinton could conjer up bling loyalty of his fans...
At least Bush has some integrity and a winning war to back him up. Compared to carter and clinton, Bush is a veritable model of excellence.
what has he done right? Please list for me the number of successful terrorist attacks on US soil, in any order.

I an neither ignorant, nor am I blind. You are, you sound just like every other liberal. I look for the facts and dig for details. I trust no ones word for anything. The fact that you don't understand, does not surprise me at all.
