Its probably your U joints on your drive line.

Have someone check the drive shaft for worn or locking u-joints. If you could take it to a shop that can put the vehicle on jack stands and run the blazer like it was going down the road, while someone else is under it to watch and look, you might find what the problem is. This is the one thing a rack can't do because you can have someone also push up and down on the suspension to mimic bumps in the road. I'm sure you will find it this way. Good Luck!

maybe cv joints in front. chev turns theirs all the time and locks in the hubs. drive shaft rear will make the side mirror shake going down the street, but makes a grand thumping noise until it falls off. can't see a shock making noise. a loose strut bearing will be ore of a rattle coming from front og car. I once found a strange noise [after hunting like forever] in a beauty ring. does blazer have tose. One time a rock in a hub cap threw me for a loop. thats all i can think of. Does it do it in 4 wheel? thats a clue.

this may sound crazy, but i know what i'm talking about. if the noise is from under the hood area over bumps (even small ones) they had a problem with the hood hinges getting play in them. to check this put a rag under each hinge to keep the hood tight and drive it. if thats the problem remove the bolts and add a small nylon washer to keep it tight, but not so tight you have trouble opening the hood. everyone else covered the other bases hope this helps.
