Religion is a social construction just like most things in the world.
I'm an atheist but speaking from a biblical point of view, humans aren't supposed to know or even be able to comprehend God's motives. Even if I was religious, it would be a pointless question to ask about God.

Yes it is, believe what you want to believe in. No one can give a definitive answer on what you get/where you go when you die, so I don't think having your own system of beleifs is wrong, I'm sure a million ppl are going to disagree with me, but whatever, I've been around long enough to know better than to listen to what a few ppl say about something as diverse as religious beleifs.

I would say yes, i don't believe that god sees himself as the leader of all humanity. to me he is a father figure, he can be loving and playful, while at the same time being a disciplinarian. God 's plan does not have a head "king" figure, it just has him, guiding his people . He did not choose to be God , he simply chose to create life and to parent that life the best way he knows how, just like any other parent.

Did you hear about the insomniac agnostic dyslectic? He stayed up all night wondering of there was a Dog.
Is there a god or gods? No one really knows one way or the other.
Why does someones belief (or non-belief) have any effect on you? Just let them go their own way, as long as they aren't doing any harm to you.
Do not provide rain for their parade. Do not provide a parade for their rain.

This is a great question. As a Christian, I often pondered questions and wondered what I believe. God choose the humans to be over the angels and yet we are imperfect ourselves. Hmmmmm. Ever wonder this one?

Believe in God through faith not proof of anything. God has always been God. No choice.

What else would he want to be? A human that rules all the other humans? Then he'd be seen as a president... or terrorist...
