Obviously there is too young, that is why there are so many horrible people in the world today, they were not raised, they just existed. Kids cannot do a good job, and never end up growing up to a mature level, if they breed early and reproduce.
I don't think there is such thing as too old. One of my male friends is a father of two very young boys and he was a great dad to his first two, but an even better dad now that he is so mature.

If you are 50 when you become a parent, you are 72 when they graduate from college, maybe 80 when the first grand kid is born. I would take 50 as a top age to become a parent.
Lots of people have children while they're teenagers, but I think that living life for a while before trading it in for kids is good - maybe 28 or so.

Yes, I believe there *is* a pefect age to have a child, and it's somewhere between 20 and 35 years old.. Why?
-it's not because your body is ready for kids at like 11-years-old that you can psychologically assume this huge responsability at such a young age.
-getting pregnant past 35 is more risky for both mother and child, it's a medical fact
Although you must keep in mind that EVERY WOMAN IS DIFFERENT.
[i.g. Solange Knowles got pregnant at 17, while Geena Davis gave birth to twins at 47!]

For me I think anything after 45 is too old to begome a parent. I think after that age you are basically a grandparent. But who am I to really say cause people in their 50s are having babies now. So it is basically what the doctor says. Anything after 35 you are really pushing it cause then there is a chance of having a downs baby or even worse. But if you are in good health after 35 go for it. But I would ask my doctor first.

I am probably going to be flamed for this, but you can check the statistics. Women over 40 have more problems than women under 40. Ideally, I would say having a child between 25 to 35 is best.

There is no perfect age. My mother had me at 19 and my youngest brother when she was 34. Each person is different.
If you're adopting, I don't think the child would care what age you are.

many grandparents take over the responsibility of their grandchildren. So, you can become a parent at any age, but physically going through a pregnancy you should be under 50

As long as you haven't gone through menopause, I think you can become a parent. Everyone has different circumstances, and there's never a perfect time to have a child.
