Every since Barry Bonds was named the next Willie Mayes, the press wouldn't give the guy a break. Bonds always put solid number every year. The press is brutal to him and he takes it to another level. When he played high school ball in San Mateo California. He was was only second black kid on the team, He's outspoken and at times a total *** but numbers speak larger than anything else. Another thing too,he seems ungrateful with baseball history and the people who set the record.

I don't care what "color" he is, I don't like him because he's a snob! He talks down to the press and sportscasters when they ask him questions and he's just generally a smart-alec!
Good parent? What kind of example is he setting for his kids?
He's telling them that it's ok to cheat, take harmful drugs, talk down to others, be obnoxious and rude whenever someone asks a question they don't like, and act like they're better than everyone else!
As far as I'm concerned, he IS a thug!
By the way ~ I'm Mexican, NOT a Bonds fan,
and pretty sure that not all white people hate Bonds.

it has nothingto do with black or white, why are you trying to make it a race thing, were you on the OJ jury too...remeber Oj didnt kill his wife b/c the cop was racist.......the reason no on elikes Bonds is that he is arrogant, now I wasnt old enough to know what Aaron was like, or Ruth so I cant comment, but Griffey is well liked and he is black, and he would be right on Bonds tail if he stayed healthy, no one was upset with Sosa unti he had the corked bat, he was well liked b/c he had a good attitude.....no one disliked tony Gwynn when he was always going for .400, he also was a great guy..from what I have heard Bobby Bonds was hated too, he acted just like Barry...maybe he should have learned more from Willie Mays or McCovey.

Then maybe you should take a look in the news. The man, and I use that term lightly, has lied to fans everywhere. He cheated the Baseball hall-of-fame, is ready to defile Hank Aaron's record, and yet still attracts baseball fans from San Fran and a few outside.

I'm not out to get Barry Bonds. I'm sure he's a great parent to his kids. I'm sure he's not as bad as other people think... However, the case of the matter is that he is stealing the history of baseball.

Even if he "accidentally" took those steroids, wouldn't you think it was strange that your head expanded 1 3/4 inches in 14 months?

p.s. Koluguy is not the brightest tool in the shed. Hey buddy, did you ever hear of Hank Aaron? He's above Ruth on the all-time list.

you're arising a stereotype your self once you assert that. Now: some human beings do unlike him 'reason hes black. i think of alot of individuals do unlike him reason he may be an a--------e, undeniable and straightforward, and that they are going to use that steroid element against him because of the fact of it. in spite of this, some human beings surely do unlike him 'reason they view him as a cheater. Mark McGuire, (hes white, of course)wasn't voted into the corridor of popularity by utilising generally white electorate because of the fact it grow to be perceived that countless his achievements got here because of the fact he used steroids. in my opinion? i think of Bonds used, besides as approximately 40-50% of MLB gamers at one time or yet another interior the present day previous. yet I additionally think of that Barry Bonds is superb because of the fact Barry Bonds is superb. and that i will assist you to already know something else-i would not invite Gary Sheffield, who's black, and Barry Bonds to the comparable social gathering, reason Sheff, a former chum of Barrys, thinks Barry is an entire a-------e and wont have something to do with him anymore.

People (well, some people) already have this covered pretty well, but I'll sum up as best I can: he cheats, he lies about cheating, he treats people like sh*t, and despite all of this he acts incredulous as to why people don't like him. For all those here who wrote about racism, why don't you ask Hank Aaron what racism is. He went through hell for the home run record and the idea of Barry Bonds stealing it away makes me sick.

Don't make this a racial thing. That's all we need is somebody else trying to make something with Barry Bonds racial. I've got news for you, white people aren't the only ones that don't like him.

The truth is some white people can't see a black man holding the torch and breaking records. Babe Ruth used to have the most home runs in history, but now Bonds passed him and he has at least two more seasons to go. They can't stand that. They came up with the steroid issue as soon as he surpassed Babe Ruth. They don't want a black man to be the baseball icon.

Why do people continue to categorize people by the color of their skin? I am "white" but I do not "hate" Barry Bonds. I have never met him. I have no opinion of him whatsoever.

As long as anyone, "black" or "white," classifies people by the color of their skin, we will all suffer from the effects of racism.

Try being yourself, a unique, individual human being, and try allowing other people to be themselves - unique, individual human beings.
