Phone your local Parish Office and ask them to give you the info. They can either give it to you or tell you how to find it. I'm guessing it's a Catholic Church from which you need the records. If it's another denomination, phone a local church of the same denomination and ask them.

Why not try our Embassy or consulate's help where you are right now. You will be needing Power of attorney authorizing someone to work it out in your behalf with embassy's notarization. La Union is a progressive town this days and I believe it is going to be easy for you. Of course, it may cost you some amount if whether you have a relative or none there.

I have been unable to find that particular church. I am assuming it is Roman Catholic. Please contact the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (see below) and ask for contact information for the church. You will then contact the church and give them your name, your parents' names and the approximate date of the baptism. Ask for a duplicate baptism certificate. When I got mineI sent a self addressed stamped envelope for them to use. Good Luck!

JUst write to them and they'll send you one. If you're in a hurry, as you might need it for a catholic wedding;then ask the parish priest to ask on your behalf, it's a lot faster that way.
