The Return of the living dead franchise is not Romero's

As was already mentioned RotLD movies were not Romero's doing.
Land of the Dead WAS a disappointment because he strayed from the genre (horror/thriller) that spawned it. Instead he opted more for a sci-fi/horror/drama style and it suffered big time due to fans of his original disliking the change.
Despite all that... I do wish he would finish out his "Living Dead" movies by making one more and holding true this time to the original genre that spawned it.
"World of the Living Dead" (made up title by me) should be a long 3 hour movie depicting the last remnants of humanity on Earth striving to survive on a planet whose inhabitants are now 99% dead!

no. if it was than that would be a total embarrassment for Romero. I also think land of the dead was one of Romero's embarassment but i absolutely still think that he is a great director.
