What I do is that I hurry up and cram. Get the textbook and notes out and start reviewing them. Repeating the main points over and over again really helps.
Good luck~ P.S. like others may have been trying to say, the best way is to REMEMBER to study. Using a planner or an agenda would help lower the risks of you forgetting (only if you write in it and open it up to look at every now and then though, of course, lol)

How can you forget? You know when the tests are as they are told to you by the teacher. You can't forget. Just find what's on the test and study it. Don't be a wimp.

Mmmm...this sounds a bit premeditated. You know, with the energy you're going to use trying to figure out a way not to study for a test, you could have studied for it and scored an A.

It's a bummer. Suck it up and take your lumps.
I missed a course due to an athletic trip in college and came back a week later to find out there was a test that day.
I did miserably and got a D. I couldn't even gripe to my classmates because they did worse.

write quick refresher notes on the hilights of the material and repeat it outloud over and over all the way to school. it may not lodge in your long term memory, but it'll stick long enough to do the test. good luck.
