I love music, but the VMAs are a waste. Just popular music that Corporate America decides what is good and what is not for us to listen to. Sad.
You know what I'm talking about if you've never seen the likes of Chimaria, Soulfly, DJ Quicksilver, DJ Tiesto, etc. on the VMAs.

I'm a music lover, i'm pretty open minded when it comes to music... such as i LOVE J-pop and j-rock = japanese music, musicals, american metal, classic rock, american pop, dance, so on and so forth... i don't like watching music videos, VMAs or stuff like that. i like conserts, but the reason i don't watch them is because the music video "sometimes" don't match up with the songs.
and awards take to long to watch in order to see your favorite band or person that you like.

I love music but I despise the VMA's. The first few that MTV did were really cool, but now they are lame and very predictable.
