I'm curious if anyone else may have experianced this problem. It Bogs down and sputters worse for the first mile after I first take off but there are times that is acts up after several miles of driving. I REALLY need this van to last me until after the first of the year. I would appreaciate any ligitimate advice. Thank You.

Have the computer scanned for codes. It could be something simple, such as an O2 sensor, but without doing a scan I am just guessing.
Some auto parts stores (such as AutoZone) will do the scan for you for free!!

you may have a vaccuum leak or a bad MAP sensor. which is causing a runnng problem.
