Are they actually that intelligent or do their agility fool me?

They are pretty clever at getting to seeds I have for the birds.

I found that if I put safflower seeds in the containers that the squirrels don't like that type of seeds and leave them alone.

I think they are fairly smart animals. But, yes, they are also very agile and know how to get from point A to point B.

They're intelligent enough to live in nature throughout the winter and summer, with only their wits and intelligence to use to survive. As are most animals. Could you do this? I doubt it. So give the animals a lot of credit, they deserve it. Respect all animals.
