Yes, sometimes I have a better time being by myself at an event even when I don't think I will. Maybe it's the freedom of being alone.

Yes I can relate to it, the beginning seems really boring but then someone asks you to dance, you have fun then when you get home you feel bad so you ended up lying and saying it sucked. Yup I know.

My husband doesn't go anywhere with me unless it's his idea to go. I'm so use to him not going, I don't even ask him to go places with me anymore. At first it upset me, but now it's no big deal. I have alot of fun without him. I guess that's a good sign that he trust me alot. We've been together 12 years.

something similar: my friends (they were a couple and i was like a third wheel) invited me to the movies and they left me alone like five minutes into the movie...i was pissed at first but i just watched it and went home and was like whatever...
if ur gonna invite someone at least stay there w/ them, ya know, but they are dumb...oh well....=)
