Is it true that Hitler persecuted Freemasons? If so, how do the modern day haters of Freemasonry, who believe it is satanic, feel about Hitler? Was he tricked by the freemasons in murdering millions? To be more clear, if Freemasonry is evil, and Hitler persecuted Freemasons, doesnt that make him the lesser of two evils? This is not my opinion I just wanted to see how modern day anti-masons feel about Hitler. Thanks!

Hitler was anti-Masonic as were the Communists. That's why Freemasons in continental Europe are still extremely secretive. I was in Hungary last Christmas and wanted to attend a lodge meeting at an English speaking lodge there. I couldn't find phone numbers or addresses in the phone books or on the web sites. I finally found the address for a single Masonic office in Budapest and went there. There was no sign or any other indication that it was a Masonic office except for a particular design worked into the iron grating in the outer door. If you aren't a Mason, you would never notice it. That's the effect that Hitler and the Communists had on Masonry in Europe.
Unfortunately, the anti-Masons in the United States are the same people who would accuse the Pope of Satan worship.

Despots of all ages have hated and reviled Freemasons. Hitler was only one of many. His henchman, Hermann Goering in his capacity as Prime Minister of Prussia, when the Nazis took over power in 1933, was that "in National Socialist Germany there is no place for Freemasonry."
In Freemasonry (usual disclaimer, I am a Co-Mason, esoteric Order, admit women & men of all races) we believe in the equality of man, tolerance of all religions, and brotherhood of mankind. We have trustworthy people who can keep secrets, even to death if need be.
What fanatical ruler would want Freemasonry in his country? I think a better test is to look at those who actively oppose Freemasonry and mark them as folks you probably do not want to hang-out with or to trust.
Remembering that Freemasonry is NOT A RELIGION, there are those who find it wrong that Freemasons do good work - as though that would get us into Heaven. Freemasons do good work because their hearts are open to the plight of the poor and needy. What comes after this life is left to each individual Freemason and his (or her) God.
Seems to me that though the Nazis had very occult leanings, they were approved by the some parts of the Roman Catholic Church. I hope by now the Roman Catholics have distanced themselves from both the approval of Fascism and the hatred for Freemasons.
Obviously, I too await the anti-Masons take on this.
Peace!

Hitler probably had a similar unfounded prejudice of freemasonry as do an excellent type of different human beings now. in my view, even even with the undeniable fact that not a member, I see not something untoward with the institution. I purely get on with my own existence really of nerve-racking about what others are doing.

First of all thousands of Masons joined the Jews in concentration camps! Hitler hated the Masons and did not trust them. Don't believe all that you read.

if i'm not mistaken hitler, not quite a world renowned esoteric practitioner, was interested in "cornering the market" on magic(k) and all other esoteric practices, in order to bolster the "power" of himself and his colleagues in that area. thus, through it's use he would have an edge in conquering the world. why does every male with an emotional age of 6 want to conquer the world? hmm. and why are they often in a position to try? anyway, all truly competent practitioners of the art who wouldn't join his nefarious scheme, like franz bardon, for example, tended to disappear.

Hitler was just another puppet of the Illuminati. He very efficiently carried out their plans for the world at that time, as President Bush is doing today. Freemasonry is indeed Satanic, but that is not revealed to it's followers until they reach the very highest level.
