I am wanting to stich satelite photos together to make a map that I can place on CD rom.?

Download "Google Earth". Its a free satellite mapping programme that gives you views of any place on earth. Once in Google Earth,you can choose the altitude from which you are viewing the planet and save the views as jpeg files. Using photo-editing software (e.g. MGI Photosuite) ,you can join the saved jpeg files,then save as one file. Use your CD burning software to produce a CD containing your map. "Google Earth" is about 11Mb in size.
