im in the 12th grade and i have been messing around with my boyfirend and he had sperm on his hand and he only fingered me because i told him i dont want things to get out of control.. and yes he did cumm and the sperm was on his hand it was out in the air for couple of second before the fingering happened.. i need to graduation this year with an high expectation.. yes i was a fool to mess aound but please take ur time to answer me with true advice that will help me out cos i think i am pregnant or im just paranoid.. please and thank you -ashely

Have you missed a period? Or had any other symptoms, like tender breasts, nausea etc? If so, go get a pregnancy test and do it ASAP, and then see a doctor for your options. It is possible that you could be pregnant (but probably not likely). If you have not missed a period, you are not pregnant. If your period is not due yet, then wait until it is, you can't do much, even if you are pregnant. A test won't work until your period is due.
If you are not, then I hope you have given yourself a sufficient scare not to risk this sort of thing again. Use a condom!
As for answer from Lovey, how do you think the sperm from sperm donors reacts once it hits the air? Does is die instantly? Obviously not, or we would have any successful sperm donations. Please don't take her advice. Sperm does not live long outside the human body, but it can live for a few minutes. So the sperm on his hands could have made it inside you quite easily.

You could be pregnant. The only way to tell for sure is to get a pregnancy test. The test that tests the earliest is First Response, it tests up to 5 days before your missed period. You should get a double pack so if the first one is negative you can take the second one a few days later to make sure. Good luck with everything and if you are pregnant, make sure you still finish school. If your baby is due before the end of the school year you should look into daycares or family members that will help you by watching the baby while you go to school. There are schools that have daycares on campus, maybe you should ask around about that. It is possible to have your period while you are pregnant, so the best way to find out is either a pregnancy test or go to the doctor and have a blood test done. Why do people that know nothing about what you are talking about answer questions?? Sperm dies when it hits air? Thats a new one. You could be pregnant! Do not listen to all these idiots! Get a test!

This is a hard question. I want to tell you not to worry but I think there's still a small chance that you could be pregnant. I've heard when sperm hits air that it dies!( Although if sperm dies that quickly then how do people donate.) Try taking a pregnancy test first thing in the morning, and take it from there. I think you might be worried for nothing! At least lets hope.

Yes it is very possible that you could be pregnant. I would go to the doctor and have a pregnancy test done. I would also have a pap test done just to make sure you are free of std's and get on the pill to protect yourself. If you are pregnant don't worry it is not the end of the world you can still be a high school grad. I just hope you and your boyfriend have a strong relationship so someone will be there for you other than your mom and dad someone you can connect with. Good luck and I hope for the best for you.

im going through the same thing right now...i think its just paranoid...i mean i think about it so much that when i wake up im like making my stomach hurt and gettin sick and its makin me think i have morning sickness...take a test....i dont think the chances are high that you are pregnant only because the sperm was in the air...it doesnt matter how long it was in the air for ..if its in the air its not able to get you pregnant...take a test...first response...good luck girlfriend

The only way to know for sure is to take a test. Take the test and if all is well just be more careful in the future. You don't say if you are having any symptoms of pregnancy or just worried because of what happened...

ugh i know what your going through im in the EXACT SAME SITUATION. i seriously can't take it anymore even though i did actually get my normal regular period but im still extremly scared! but i dont even know if my boyfriend had sperm on his hand i feel wierd asking but i am next week when i see him again. just wait it out and relax .. the chances are slim but if this feels better im feeling the exact same way you are and its extremley nerve wrecking

Ashley??? Didn't you already ask this question.... no.. you are NOT pregnant...... as long as he didn't penetrate you ... with his penis... . then there is no way you could have gotten pregnant!!! You say he made have had c.um on his finger when he fingered you ... but semen dies once it hits the air...

You're probably not pregnant. Is your period late? It's unlikely you became pregnant this way.
