How to answer a question based on such an unsound premise? Who says men are better at all of those things? You can make an empirical argument about athletics as men generally tend to be stronger and faster (and so what?), but who says the best chefs or surgeons or artists are men? How could anyone of either sex be considered the best artist or best chef in the first place? If your real question is why more men than women are involved in those fields, you're only really seeing the results of many years of inequality of opportunity.

I have to say and it is hard being a women, but you are so far right, It still is a man's world,

Women are best at sewing, never a met a man who could out sew a woman!!

Interior Design, mosttly women are the best at Interior design, while men are good Architects

Naturally as mentioned before Pregnancy is an obvious one.

Home keeping, men generally are not as good at keeping a home good inside, a lot of guys find it boring work, whereas some women feel it is a sense of personal achievement to have a good home.

Women can be good GP Doctors, but not as much surgeons and women can be good nurses as it requires caring for someone, women are in general better at the caring instinct in a wider sense, where as men are good at the protection, or fixing of a situation.

A Women may often sympathise with things, Men often want to either act or not Act.

Having the patience to deal with men , children and people whom waste our time with idiotic questions. Oh and as for your question well have you seen a man give birth yet? Give it a try(bet you wont!) Theres a saying if the man in a relationship had to go through nine1/2 months of pregnancy and give birth to every other child a couple wanted, there would never be more than two children born to any family! And please do your home work there are plenty of women whom are very accomplished chefs, athletes, artists and surgeons.!

Taking it doggie style? You forgot that men also are the best scientists, engineers, educators, writers, painters, musicians, world leaders, economists, inventors (they've invented almost everything there is), and cowboys. There are at least 4 times as many male geniuses as female geniuses. That is why college education is so slanted to coddle woman with militant feminist teachers and mandatory feminist curriculum's. Has anyone ever taken an art history course or a communication course that wasn't a feminist interpretation of art history or the communication of male bashing? Have you? I think not.

Hey I disagree with all of this nonsense. It takes a individual to do a certain job and that means equal opportunities for men and women. How many women are in the service supporting our troops. How many women are surgeons, artists, Athletes, welders and etc. Please don`t say that us women have no perceptive and knowledge of doing a job. How many of you guys have had children, do the wash, Cooking, tending to the children like getting them ready for school and then all the juggling of housework and being a taxi to the drs, after school functions, kissing bruises, bedtime stories and I could go on and on.Also after a hurried busy day at a job and the household duties then we have to function on our sex lives even though tired to satify their mate.

Behind every successful man it a strong woman.
Best Chefs what about Nigella Lawson,Madur Jeffry,Nancy Oakes,Duskie Estes to name a few.

Athletes we are just as strong in competition as our male counter-parts

Artists we are up there with you in the musical sense.
Painters pasted and present woman have excelled

Surgeons there is a barrier but we are slowly being accepted especially in the world of Cardio Thoracic

Woman are equal to men in some things but not in every thing we do have physical differences.
(Hard to believe we are not perfect though)

Well you guys can't be the best Mom's, Daughters &Wives,
and you can stand corrected as to the best chefs, athletes, artists and surgeons. I think Women hold their own in any field, when given the chance.

What makes you believe that women aren't the best at any of those things? And why are you asking such a question? Were you dumped recently? I don't think we need to peg either sex as being THE best at anything. There's no purpose to that.

Well, hmmm for one it was a woman who gave you life as many women made so clear before my statement(lol),but i will explain a better way,if your mother was a good mother, she supported you as you fed from her breast, she loved kissing your boo boo when fell off your bike, she had the compassion to figure out what funny school clothes to buy you so the kids at school would tease you so bad,you would know humility, there are many ways to descrbe women, but one thing is certain,'Behind every great man, there was a woman',not to mention their not bad at billards.
