I am going to move soon, faaar away from NC. I need to move to a good place with lots of punk rock, gothic kids around. I heard that there were a lot in the northern states like Michigan etc. I also want to get a husky so i dont want a really hot place but if you could reccomend a state that would be perfect...I would appreciate it, if you have a lot of gothic teens around then please help me out. Give me as much details as possible, state, cities, where?

New York City is a good place for that. You can still own a big dog in some areas, plus you basically have your choice of decent jobs.
It's a bit expensive, but if you like a place where you don't need to drive 20 miles to get anywhere, NYC is perfect.

The San Francisco Bay Area. Around the bay it stays cool mot of the year because of the fog, so its rarely that hot. The bay area has all sorts of people, from hippies to ultra conservatives, and they all live in peace and harmony. Its a very accepting place, where all sorts of people are accepted as equals. Its the American Dream.

Portland, Maine... Lots of gothic teens, lots of huskies since that is a college mascot here... Awesome spring, fall, and summer and nice winters... perfect weather for a husky!!! Good luck!!!

try minneapolis/st. paul, mn or surrounding cities there is a great punk scene here. or check out omaha, ne. it has a great punk rock scene as well. i'm situated amost totally in the middle of both these great places, and have done quite a few road trips for shows etc. or hell we have a pretty decent punk scene here in good old sioux falls, sd!

From what my husband says (who lived in michigan for about 15 years) Michigan is full of a lot of preps.

Idaho has many different types of kids your age...We were voted one of the very best places to move to, and we have a lot less crime...My son moved away from N.C., too...
