Only YOU can motivate yourself again -- get up, move around, look at everything around you -- and then ... after pondering your things, your life up to this point in time -- how can you say there is nothing to look forward to?
Every age in life has its challenges, and hard work brings blessings (and sometimes even hard work can't overcome challenges). A young adult looks at a soon to be Retiree with the thought that eventually they want their position and to be able to Retire and do what they want and be secure. Retirees want to not only relax, but stay active for a long period of time after retirement, etc etc etc.

This has got to be the worst feeling in the world, thank god it never lasts. Right now, with nothing to look forward to you don't get motivated you get determined. You decide to take your next breath focus on the next minute of your life, you keep moving. Each day the moving and breathing gets easier and eventually motivation will find you. Don't look outside of yourself for a reason to act, you are all the reason you will ever need. You are unique and even when there is nothing external to look forward to you can count on the fact that there will be very soon, you just have to make yourself get there, get to that next moment when life is more motivating that ever has been before.

Go back and try to remember what motivated you the first time. If that doesn't motivate you again, put into mind a quote from a former U.S. President Roosevelt.
"When you're going through hell keep going."
That quote means if you're going through problems keep going so you could exit these problems. In simple terms... if you're in the middle of a tunnel and it's so dark that you can't see in front of you, don't stop. Keep walking until you reach that exit again. Staying still won't help you move forward.
Use your want to move forward as motivation.

There are so many lonely people out there for you to help! Why don't you go to a local hospital and volunteer for a bit each week. You can visit children (who are frightened) and elderly people - reading to them, writing letters for them, just being there for them. Maybe when you see what some of those people have to look forward to, you will feel better about your own life. I will be thinking of you and wish you the very best and lots to look forward to. Take care.

It's up to you to create something to look forward to. Schedule a day to do something or go somewhere and look forward to that date. Then do what you've planned even if you don't feel like doing it.

There is a lot to look forward to but you have to want to see it. If you continue to feel this way see a doctor for depression.

You will always have to be motivated.Think of what you are wanting to do.sort how you are going to get there and just work for it.If you keep thinking negative thoughts, you wouldn't have accomplished in anything.Stay positive, find something that you you like doing and treat yourself to something when you have accomplished it.It makes you feel really good.

I'd see a psychiatrist. Sounds like you could have depression. There are really good treatments these days.
