Iqon Computer swithing Itself off-Update to question!?

Question

Think I may need to contact Iqon,from one of answers I received I checked in power options in control panel and hibernation mode was checked,could this have caused it? I,ve checked for viruses-none-No Ad-ware. I check these every night.When weather was hot-few weeks ago (bludy freezin now) the fan was really noisey and I kept switchin off cos I thought it could get damaged. I was playing Tetris when it switched off twice in space of 1 hour. yesterday it switched off while i was looking through my music folders. It hasn't had any upgrades and back has never been off. I just thought i would ask incase there was something i had done wrong before I send it for service...Thanks for answers already received,very much appreciated*...

I'm afraid, Nitos!, that your explanation of your fan being noisy points to that as being the culprit. I would return it if I were you.

It doesn't sound, from what you say, that you've done anything wrong. You don't have a secret stash of child porn on there do you? (I'm not deliberately attempting to sound facetious. I'm simply trying to point out that whatever you have on your hard drive will be available for the system repairers to see ... the same with any personal documents that you may have. Simply formatting your hard drive will not get rid of them either, though I doubt that the system repairers will be arsed to attempt reclaiming data when all it's going to take them is a few minutes to replace a fan or two.)
