Try putting the tip of your cursor on a bare spot by the start button click on it & drag it to the left bottom corner if thats where you want it. then release it. it should stay put.good luck:)

Right click on the start menu bar. Make sure the toolbar is not locked, unlock it if it is. Then left click and drag it back to the bottom.

click on the grey area in the middle of the start bar. and drag back to the bottom

Drag the whole bar back down to the bottom. That should do it!

right click the taskbar and make sure "Lock the Taskbar" isn't checked. Then click-drag the whole taskbar down to the bottom of your screen.
