Well, being a bore is in the eye of the beholder, so I cannot answer if he's a 'bore' to everyone, only to me. I don't think he's a bore, he has some very good insights. I believe he's received critical acclaim for his involvement in "An Inconvenient Truth".
As to your implication that this question is only about being funny, I thought he was mildly funny when he tried... Has he gotten funnier? No, probably not... though I haven't heard him trying to be funny lately.
[To me, your question implies a bias against Mr. Gore; it's pratically an insult to say Gore is a bore... rhyming doesn't change the message. Ultimately, who cares if he is funny or not? As a leader of our nation, he didn't (and wouldn't) need to be funny to be committed to the common good, and capable of leading. Why expect him to be funny or get any funnier? Why is politics such a popularity contest? Is that what our nation has been reduced to?]

If you mean that he is saying things considered untrue, boring and is not making any points for his side, the liberals. In other words does he make any sense , Then yes he is getting funnier!
