Is it Dave Matthews part of Five For Fighting?

Is he a solo artist? Is his "Butterfly" song from Because of Winn Dixie a real song you can get on a CD, like the soundtrack? Does that movie even have a soundtrack? I'm sorry. I know this is a lot of questions in one. Thank you in advance for your answers.

five for fighting is a solo artist..and it is not dave matthews. I don't know if there is a sound track for that movie, but try looking up the song on windows media player.
