I'm 39 wks and having contractions about every 45min. But it doesn't hurt at all, my stomach tightens and all, but no pain..... somebody experienced this? When you start feeling the pain?

When you're actually in labor. Right now, you're body is just practicing for the real deal. Just hang in there, you're almost there! Good Luck!

These are probably Braxton-Hiicks contractions like everyone is saying or it could be very early labor. In any case it's a really good opportunity to practice relaxing through a contraction. Pay attention to what other areas of the body tend to tense up when the contractions come and concentrate on relaxing those muscles. Congratulations and Good luck!!!

This is completely normal. It's your body's way of getting ready for labor. When you go into labor the contractions will become more pain full and closer together.

you may just be haveing braxton hick's contractions or pre-contractions you shouldnt even think you are in labor until the contractions are alot closer togther and increase in pain and are comming on a regular basis for several hours and trust me the pain will come.

Those are called Braxton-Hicks. Think of them as practice for the real thing, while it's not labor, they do help to begin the dilation process. Congratulations!

Sounds like braxton hicks- I was on bed rest for 6 weeks with those. You will know the real ones when they HURT.
you are getting close, sounds like baby is getting ready :)

It could possibly be Braxton-Hicks contractions. No need to worry just yet. Trust me you will know when it is time to go!

it took me a little bit too, but after being in labor for 22 hours, they started to hurt a little!! ;) your gonna do great!! just relax!!!
