my husband says the same thing when he gets really angry at me. we've been together for almost 6 years. it's always been like that with us. at first i took him seriously and a few times i just didn't care if he left. but now i know that he doesn't really mean it. you see when a person is angry at someone they love they tend to say the one thing that would hurt the most. the best thing to do is when he says that walk away. let him know you are just giving him some space so he can cool off and calm down. tell him that when he is calm if he still wants a divorce than ok. chances are that once he's calm he won't want a divorce and he will apologize. (my husband does and i usually get flowers or something like that) there may be a small chance that he does want a divorce but i don't think so. it sounds to me like he's just saying that to hurt you. after your next arguement, if he's says he wants a divorce than do what i suggest. once he is calm and he says he's sorry let him know that you knew he didn't really mean it and that he only says it to hurt you. it will make him think and maybe he won't say it any more. my husband doesn't say it much anymore. don't worry everything will be ok. i wish you the best of luck.

Well i think it all depends because if he is the type to get really mad then he could just be saying it out of anger, because to be honest i am not married but i live with my boyfriend for 2 years and when i get sooooo angry i always tell him its over, and even sometimes i say worse things like i feel like going to be with someone else someone who would appreciate me, Im not saying its right and I actually have been trying to control my mouth because i realize now that I can say alot of hurtfull things out of anger, so maybe just sit down with your husband and explain to him that honey everytime we get into a fight you cant keep telling me we are going to get a divorse because that hurts and your using something against me that should be cherished not used as a sheild and that is our marriage. well good luck to you and remember everyone has problems but the more you go through the stronger person you become. hope everything works out.

Yeah, i have been there. I knew the nighttime before I were given married that I shouldn't go by with it, yet by using then I felt it changed into too previous due: church booked, reception booked, earrings & clothing bought, blah blah. i imagine i extremely knew about ... ooooooh, enable's see, a week after the marriage that i ought to extremely performed the incorrect difficulty!! I hung in there for 4 years before i ultimately left ... 4 lengthy, wasted years! at times we do issues for motives in simple terms we are able to fathom on the time, even although we are not too sensible. once you're quite sensible you've made a mistake, bypass with your gut intuition. I hung in there for 4 years, yet made no vast difference to the end result: we chop up and that i lost 4 years of my existence. good success! :)
