i def. stand up for myself when i need to. i have examples i could give you but it might take too long. no one disrespects me and gets away with it.
of course i also encourage people to stand up for themselves. my friend was always getting teased or laughed at. i stood up for her when i was there but i couldnt be everywhere she was. so i told her to tell them off or find a good comeback to shut them up. i told her to be more confident about herself and walk around like she was big and tough so people wouldnt make fun of her. if you look tough or big then most smart people dont mess with you.
