Well I have always thought that by the time you make it to the point where you have to declare a major in college you would at least know how to spell that major. So, to help you out--Business not buisness management.
If you really want to major in psychology and not physcology (not really sure what physcology is) you need to know how to spell it on the application.
As for becoming successful in the psychology field it depends on what direction you would like to go--therapy, research, treatment, teaching, etc...
Anyway, I encourage you to check it out if you are interested take a couple basic psych classes--psych 101, behavioral psych, social psychology, abnormal psych and see what you think.

Well if you are going to major in psychology then I would first suggest that you learn how to spell it- P-S-Y-C-H-O-L-O-G-Y.
Moreover, unless you plan on getting a grad degree in it, I wouldn't recommend it. There's not much you can do with a B.A. or B.S. -probably slightly more with a B.S.
Another option to consider might be to get that degree in Psych.
and then perhaps one in corrections. A police academy maybe?
You need a passion for what ever it is that you choose. This much I know. Otherwise, you will never be happy. Choose wisely. College is spendy.

Psychology is a good field, but in order to get a well-paying job, you will need an advanced degree. Those with only a B.S. wind up working in psych wards, not doing therapy. To do major counseling, you need a PhD.

Psychology itself is not the best major to get. It is great as a minor. If you are going to go to grad school and get your masters, than Psychology would be ok. Unless you want to do social work it is kind of a pointless degree.
Good luck!

psychology is a great degree...if you use it. problem is, most people that major in psych are very intelligent and attuned to begin with. it's an exasperating program. the only thing I cared about doing (before I went to graduate school), was to get my old job back at taco bell.
