English translation:
The following inventions are from the magnificent minds of our great Filipinos. But the sad story behind this is they were not given support and importance by our government. What happened was those intellectual rights of our inventors was only bought by rich foreign companies in which later on credits will be awarded to these companies and rich people. Govenrment sucks! I pity my co- Filipinos! When will we have a chance to be known from our good works?

That makes me really really proud being a Filipino. I'd be a Filipino forever if these will be recognized by the whole world. I have told some of the foreigners I know (since I deal with Koreans and the Japanese) about this but none of them gave me an agreeing response. I have also found websites telling that we are claimers of inventions without recognized authors. I feel so bad about all of these things. They don't want to feel that we have scientists to do things like all of these. Maybe because these are just inventions that are too great that they didn't expect Filipinos to be as innovative as what their eyes can see. They only see themselves.
I salute all of the developers of such equipment. These things can actually help us move forward but our government always fails to realize the benefit of such. They would blame the lack of funds to support this while many of them have been putting money on their own pockets.
I guess there a lot more inventions in the Philippines but not all are recorded for the fact (i hope it's a fallacy because it hurts!) that many of these have been credited to other countries. Some scientists sold their ideas because of the govt's being so unsupportive of their inventions.
There is also a problem with the media. The citizens can be as supportive as they can but the media feature inventions of the world outside our country. With this, many citizens aren't reached.
There is also a problem with some citizens as they aren't too supportive and so disbelieving that their fellow Filipinos can do things.
Before I cry, I'd like to end my answer with some applause for our scientists.
by the way, it is said that the Agapito Flores' flourescent light is only claimed bythe Filipinos. I think the word was attributed to its maker but as they say, the word flourescent had been formed before Agapito Flores was known... Well, whatever they say, that invention remains to be Agapito's...

Super bola bola!!!
Some of the "inventions" that you mentioned may have been "kidnapped" from filipinos by others countries that developed them and exploit that idea. BUT i heard more than FEW times about the fluorescent lamps been "invented" by a filipino by the name of Agapito Flores (therefore the name fluorescent, i was told..) Well for start its not FLORESCENT (from flores) but FLUORESCENT, from the FLUOR powder that was inside the tubes.
and let me share what the Wikipedia say about the "filipino" invention..
History of the fluorescent lamp.
The earliest ancestor of the fluorescent lamp is probably the device by Heinrich Geissler who, in 1856, obtained a bluish glow from a gas which had been sealed in a tube and excited with an induction coil. Though he is remembered as a physicist, Geissler was trained as a glassblower.
At the 1893 World's Fair, the World Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois displayed Nikola Tesla's fluorescent lights.
In 1894, D. McFarlane Moore created the Moore lamp, a commercial gas discharge lamp meant to compete with the incandescent light bulb of his former boss Thomas Edison. The gases used were nitrogen and carbon dioxide emitting respectively pink and white light, and had moderate success.
In 1901, Peter Cooper Hewitt demonstrated the mercury-vapor lamp, which emitted light of a blue-green color, and thus was unfit for most practical purposes. It was, however, very close to the modern design. This lamp had some applications in photography where color was not yet an issue, thanks to its much higher efficiency than incandescent lamps.
Edmund Germer and coworkers proposed in 1926 to increase the operating pressure within the tube and to coat the tube with fluorescent powder which converts ultraviolet light emitted by a rare gas into more uniformly white-colored light. Germer is today recognized as the inventor of the fluorescent lamp.
General Electric later bought Germer's patent and under the direction of George Inman brought the fluorescent lamp to wide commercial use by 1938.
But filipinos are not alone in the world of false claims... an American Vice president claimed that he invented the internet..

there's only seven people in the world who are able to invent water powered car and two of them are from south east asia. one is filipino and one is malaysian. the difference is the malaysian do the research locally and was able to produce the car with the support of the government (they launched the car 2 weeks ago into the market) while the filipino did the research elsewhere and government dont even bother to acknowledge this. what the government do in their office is preparing empty promises for the next general election. also they are writing down many list of whom will be "politically" killed. corruption really destroy the country
