I survived the blizzard of 78 in New England. A 30 mile long traffic jam from evening rush hour was caught in such deep snow that it took two weeks to dig out all the cars and open the road again.

Yes I survived the monstrous and evil Scottish haggis cull of 1988 by hiding in a secret cave in the Grampian Mountains. Thankfully my species then got endangered status and has since begun to recover.

When I was younger we got stuck in Yellowstone during the 1988 wildfires. I was only 14 at the time so I thought it was kinda cool. But looking back we were actually lucky to get out of there. We were camping and had the sheriff get stuck with us and some other campers until some retardant planes made a path to get us out. Parents got good pictures out of the deal.
