Why is that there is always someone that rates every answer but theirs a thumbs-down? If you do this why? If not, do you get annoyed by it?

I don't rate too many people on here, because everyone is entitled to their own opinion, when I do rate, I do it based on what they said and how it effects me, most of the time I give them the thumbs up, there are few that I've rated thumbs down because they've written something that lacked common sense, I don't do it to be mean. Some of the answers that I've rated thumbs down needed to be thought about before writing it on here, and I am not saying that their opinion is wrong, I just think they needed to think it through more before answering, because I think some people might take things they write on here in the wrong direction and then they end up getting mad over something someone thought they wrote or meant tho write.

I guess they just like to play with the buttons. I gave you a thumbs up on your question, the least you can do is give me a thumbs up for my answer.
It's not annoying, but I hardly ever see anyone rating the answers to a question. It takes to long to read every answer and rate them. I miss alot if I stop and rate each answer. Maybe they will get rid of them if no one is using them.

i dont know! I rate but I dont give everyone but me a thumbs down! If their answer is rude or dumb they get a thumbs down, but if I like the answers they give then they get a thumbs up! It all depends on the answer to me!

yes and im like wtf do that to someone. my friend did a question and everyone that answered got a thumbs down and they had great answers. probably an 11 yr old on moms computer doing that
