You will not get great gas mileage with that engine in a Jeep Wrangler, as the engine is big and of an older design. Furthermore, the Wrangler is has the aerodynamics of an outhouse and the four-wheel drive system has more friction than a two-wheel drive system. You will love the power, however.
I'd guess that you might get 15 mpg, but a lot depends on how heavy your right foot is. Switching to a two-barrel carburetor will help some. Dropping that engine into a Honda Civic will probably get you 22 mpg and an awesome ride.

I understand everything you got till I got to the RV cam? Why an RV cam?Why not the original cam or the one out of the LT1 1970 Chevy or possibly a Crowler stage 2 cam for gobs of torque? What kind of 4 barrel? You got a Rochester, one for this motor? There are different types of these made for different engines? Holley? Preferably a 750 double pumper to handle the cam and different intake? Now a days Cam manufactures' and Carb makers offer different combinations for maximum performance using certain combinations of carbs, intakes, and cams along with compression ratios and maximum economy. What gears ya using in the back, Jack? From the tranny to the rearend? 3spd,4spd,5spd(with overdrive or even 6spd for that matter) Automatic? Powerglide,350 or 400 turbo or the newer 4spd automatics'?Rear gears, 308 to 4.88 ,5.13 to one .WHATcombinations you choose figures into gas mi.Where ya gonna drive it ? Offroad, straight line asphalt, both? Ned more info? Just a wild guess using the most extreme 4-5 mpg using the less likely,8-11 mpg. Besides ,what do ya want? Fuel economy or fun? If its fuel economy go buy a darned ol'Chevette

There are too many variables involved here to accurately answer this question. Gear ratios, tire size, driving habits, etc etc
