You just have to practice it... Just keep trying and it will come eventually...it took my sister a long time to get it. I hope you do.. Good Luck.

go down as far as you can and hold it. also try doing heel streches which is when you grab you foot while standing and bringing it into the air. Those should help. Just make sure you stick with streaching and know when to stop when you are hurting in an unproductive way

i am a cheerleader and nobody on my squad can do the splits. streach out your legs very well and push down!
