It does not matter what anyone else thinks of the tattoo work that you have done. Tat's are supposed to be a very personal thing, ie, just for yourself! If you are happy with the work that you have done then that is all that matters. Tat's hold very personal meanings for people and no one else has the right to take that away from them.
As for the one comment before mine with the label of a 'tramp stamp'... please read above statement.
For the record I have 15 tat's at the moment and I have the next 3 ready to go in art form to add onto some work previously done...

I love them...I just recently got my first and although I almost passed out at first (didn't eat and worked myself up)...I was a champ for my second session.
My boyfriend also got one--his 8th, but you will never believe what it is...everyone laughs
he got a tbone steak with a meat clever (he is a butcher)...it was hilarious,,,the tattoo artist was so excited to do it though..
just an FYI-the artists love to do "original tats" and are sometimes sick and tired of all the butterflys, etc..
Mine is a traditional celtic ring--the claddagh, meaning friendship, loyalty and love. I do believe though that each tattoo should have some meaning or represent something in your life

I love tattos, I think they are very sexy as well. The process of getting them is enjoyable, usually tattoo artist are pretty cool people, I know the guys that did mine were very cool. We'd hang out for a smoke with the artists after I was finished getting my tattoo done.

I have heard several men call the tattoo on a women's lower back above the butt area a "tramp stamp".. Something I'm glad I didn't get stamped. Not a real positive image there.
