10 to the 93rd would be 1 plus 93 zeroes as everyone has said, however when you subtract 93 all the zeroes become 9s except the last two become a 0 and a 7. The one gets "borrowed" in the subtraction. So you are left with 91 nines and 1 seven.
That would be 9(91) +7 = 819 +7 = 826
I think it is interesting how all last night, I was the only one that didn't answer "1" and now Amy (1st answer) conveniently has an answer almost identical to mine. If you realize you screwed up on your own that's one thing - but after someone else posts a different answer and you correct yours - that's not fair. Now it looks like I'm the one that copied. I only answered because NO ONE had this answer yet. BE HONEST.

The sum of the digits of10^ninety 3 - ninety 3: the 1st 2 digits could be 0 and seven (you could tell by using ability of subtracting ninety 3 from the 1st 2 0's), then afterwards, there could be ninety 9's (while subtracting from the third 0 in the type of quantity onwards, the digit is 9 till in basic terms earlier the very final digit of the quantity you're subtracting from). as a result the sum= 0+7+(ninety*9) = 7+810 = 817

literal use of definitions of words in your problem make the answer:
1
why?
10 to any power is simply a 1 followed by that many zeroes. So, 1 + 0 [even 93 of them] etc equals 1

10^2 = 100
10^3 = 1000
10^4 = 10000
10^5 = 100000
notice a patern? Unless you are in second grade or something you should know that multipling a number by 10 just adds a 0 to the end of it.
2 points for me though

Goodlittlegirl is entirely correct.
And she was entirely correct last night.
AmyAKy is also right, but only fixed her answer AFTER Goodlittlegirl answered. Therefore, it looks like Amy answered correctly first. Gee, that's fair.
Goodlittlegirl deserves best answer, no question about it.
