My grandfather had Hooks, but was a very talented artist even with them. He used to draw pictures and hide them around the yard...he'd give you one picture to start out...then you'd have to look for that which he had drawn someone out in the yard..then to the next picture and so on and so on..and finially at the end of the little pictures you'd find a treasure. Those were always so fun. So a few years before he past away i was able to surprise them with a Treasure hunt in his own backyard...he was away so I was able to draw and hide all the Treasure Hunt pictures. Him and my nana had never done one...just always entertained us grandkids with them before....so it's was really special that I was able to do that for them...plus my grandpa kept commenting on how nicely I had drawn all the hints. The end treasure...a butterfly yard pole for my nana's garden and a little bag of change for my grandpa..cause that's what he used to hide for me!!
Thank you so much for your question...tears of happiness in remembering that!

I remembered my mum bought me a super man t-shirt. It was the coolest superhero then. T-shirt was with the logo 'S' and the red wing cloth attached, as though it was the real costume. Wearing own pants and of course the classics red underwear outside.
I was very young child then, mischieviously climbed onto a table and shouted "Superman" before diving into the neighbouring sofa couch for landing. Fortunely no injuries for the rest of the landings. Anyway, used to mimicked cowboys, hats and toyguns posting for my dad's family picture sessions.
Pathetic isn't it for a gal? I should be playing dolls.....

Man, I have such a great life, I can't pick a single memory.
But if I had to... ... maybe... This is too hard, I will just say going to my first best friends house all the time during first grade. We used to sleep UNDER his pull out bed. I used to bring my favorite lego throwbots. And those old computer games he had, And then when pokemon came out, we would buy pokemon versions and build up armies to battle with on the nintendo game pokemon stadium... good times.

The time my father was listening to me while I was loudly reading a story on bees. I am 32 now and at the time I was only 7. It is amazing that I always remember the way he was looking at me: proud, happy, most importantly present! What better present parents might give to his children other than being present!
