start->control panel->add remove programs->at the top check "show updates" radio box->scroll down in the list->you will see IE7 listed, uninstall that, restart and you are on IE6

just go to wondows control panel. click add/remove programs then new pop-up windows open with all the programs on ur computer. now locate IE 7 Beta and click remove button. this will uninstall the IE 7 beta not the IE6. after unintalling ur computer will ask u if u want to restart ur computer or not, i recomend u restart ur computer right away so dat ur IE will run properly. soon after u restart and log-on again, IE 7 Beta is now uninstalled and IE6 is back on ur computer. i did this twice, unisntalling IE 7 BEta cause theres too many web bugs on it. ill wait to for micosoft to fix the web bugs forst before downloading it again. besides, IE sucks anyway. forefox is better. download firefox here at http://getfirefox.com or opera at http://opera.com

Uninstall IE-7, and reinstall IE-6.

Break from mediocrity and install the latest version of Firefox from Mozilla. You'll be much happier :))

cant you just remove it from the add/remove from the control panel??
or search on net for add and remove program and the trial version should be enough to get rid of ie7
I dont think you are stuck with it there are numerous ways to do it you just need to know how to do it.

mozilla firefox is better than internet explorer its free and blocks pop ups

You are pretty much stuck.
However, you can use firefox & completely forget about IE, safety & lots of cool features.
