probably 20 watts into 4 different speakers, each speaker with 4 ohms of resistance and thd is probably some measure of distortion

Not very impressive specifications for a 4 channel amp. Only giving you 4 channels of 20 amps into a 4 ohm loaded speaker and 0.05 total harmonic distortion.
You need something like: 4 x 75 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms 4 x 150 Watts Max at 4 Ohms 2 x 300 Watts Max at 4 Ohms Bridged 4 x 125 Watts at 2 Ohms MOSFET Switches Maintain Rated Power Over A Wide Range of Battery Voltages Stiffly Regulated PWM-Type Power Supplies Variable Input Level Controls for Each Pair of Cannels Variable High & Low Pass Crossover Controls High-Efficiency, Heavy Aluminum Heatsink Remote Subwoofer Bass Control Electronic Crossover Network Bass Boost Circuit Bridgeable at 4 Ohms 2 Ohm Stereo Stable Tri-Mode Capable Gold RCA Inputs Power & Protection LED Indicators Advanced Protection Circuitry Soft Turn On/Off Frequency Response: 15 Hz-35 kHz S/N Ratio: 90 dB Dimensions: 10.25"W x 2"H x 12"L

20 watts coming from each of 4 speakers. 4 ohms resistance - this is a sales point because most speakers are 8 ohms, which means you'll only get 10 watts per speaker. THD is Total Harmonic Distortion. Another sales point - the cheapest speakers have less that 1% THD.

It means that the amplifier can deliver 20 watts of power on each of four channels into 4 ohm (measure of resistance) speakers. and at 20 watts the amplifier will have no more than 0.05% Total Harmonic Distortion. If you have 8 ohm speakers you will get slightly less power. Less than 4 ohms and the amp may blow up.

20 watts is the power output times 4 so it equals 80 watts 4 ohms per line with a 0.05% give or take. thats my guess anyway

20 watts into 4 channels as long as its a 4 ohm (resistance) speaker (1 spesker in series)with .05% total harmonic distortion per channel

It's what all those guys above said. It's what every standard standard low-end in-dash cd player puts out. Don't pay attention to specs like that. You should listen to a component before you buy it. Only your ears can tell you if its good.
