I think shaved completely is a little extreme. My personal favourite is neatly trimmed and cropped. For my money it's the best way to go; I think the kids are calling it a racing stripe these days.
There is nothing worse than a girl that has completely let the jungle grow over, if you know what I mean. It suggests that there is a lack of care and attention to personal hygiene. It's kinda gross to have to dig out a pubic hair out of your front teeth; I'm all for flossing and oral sex but the thought of that makes me never want to do either for the rest of my life.
Guys are more visually stimulated than woman. Therefore some hedging in the "area" can reap great rewards.

well really my girlfriend asked me the same question, and well at the time I told her I didn't care, but well after awhile I realized that if I was to eat her out down there, then well I wouldn't want hair in my mouth, so yeah, Personally I would say most guys like it shaved, since they don't need to have hair in their mouth either, plus it stops it from attracting fowl odors and such and makes it alot easier to clean your body. So yeah shaved is the best way to go

No, I don't. I hate stubble. Perfectly smooth might be fun. But shaving suggests an over concern with her sex organs, area, and leads me to think she might be "freaky."
