I'm thinking about getting an IUD.
Can you tell me your experiences with it?
Was there any pain after having the IUD inserted?

I had mirena. It was easy. It was in and I didn't feel a thing. My doc was awesome. I had no cramping. My period stopped immediately. (You have to be on it to get the IUD inserted.) I was so scared but there was nothing to it.

I have Mederma and I don't particularly care for it. The first one that was inserted slipped and came out and while the second one is secure, I have totally random bleeding during the month now. I will bleed twice a week for like 20 minutes at a time. It's a pain in the butt. I never have any idea when I can expect a period. For some woman their periods will stop all together and for others you will get the opposite result and have heavy bleeding. Depends on the person.

I've used in past and its very comfortable ,,its a small circle sponge like thing that has a dip on one side and you just get it wet with water and it will get foam ed up and you just fold it and insert it into private and the foam kills sperm its very good protection,, but if you really love the person and they love you then i would get a blood test first,,because nothing gets rid of aids,,so be careful,, its very soft, to answer if it hurts, no but ur body is precious so take care ok?
