I was going to say "get a job" until I read your supporting information. It can be very difficult to get your first real job. I waited quite a while and it still wasn't the job I imagined myself doing. I wouldn't just wait for someone to reply to your online resumes. I would submit some locally in person. Hard copies of your resume are often easier to review or store for later openings. Mail some resumes to companies that may hire in the near future. Until then, get out and enjoy life cheaply (you don't have a job, remember). Go rollerblading, running, or swimming. Volunteer to help with a youth or charitable organization - that kills boredom and looks great on a resume. Stay away from the frig - boredom can add on pounds.

actually hand resumes in to businesses. You know, get dressed, and walk or drive to the businesses you want to work for and hand your resume in to the receptionist. If that person likes the look of you, you've at least got a foot in the door. Often, online resumes are just deleted if the company isn't hiring for that position.

Blindly sending resumes via the internet might not yield any results. Start setting up some informational interviews with people in the field you're interested in. Before you're finished with the info interview - get the names of at least two more people to interview about what they do, how they got into their spot etc. This kind of networking can help you get in contact with someone who's hiring.

Read, Write, Volunteer doing something to help others without a gain for yourself, old folks always need someone to listen to, homeless animals need help too. Just get creative, without being picky because otherwise you will remain bored!
