Plato said 'the're are many roller coasters but there is only one true form of the roller coaster'. As to life: refer to Plato's simile of the Sun where life can be understood (????) as the 'father of the Good' or 'Form of the Good' which is the acme of all knowledgable realms.

if you've not lost me, don't worry about Aristotle he was to busy writing about poetics to be woried about Ronan Keating. Whereas Socrates poisoned himself with hemlock after listening to aforemention gay irish midget.

FYI- There were no rollercoasters in Ancient Greece or Rome. It was originally the philosopher "Ohio Players" who popularized this phrase in their song "Rollercoaster of Love." The philosophers "Red Hot Chili Peppers," later repopularized this theory with their remake of the song in the 1990s. To bring their theory to the masses, they included their song on the Beavis and Butthead movie soundtrack. :)

They didn't have rollercoasters then. They might have said something to the effect, Life is a winding road!

It was Socrates. One minute you're up and everybody loves you, next minute they are asking you to drink hemlock.

I'm pretty sure that they didn't have roller coasters back then, but I could be mistaken. Those Greek theme parks were pretty popular.
