Well, I usually just go to WalMart of PayLess. Those are really the only two places that I buy shoes. It is just easier when you are on a budget.

I buy my shoes at shoe stores like Shoe Dept. I never get my feet measured. If something doesn't fit I just go to the next size. I have measured my own feet before and the size that it reads I can not wear. My feet measure a size 7 wide but I can not wear anything smaller than a 8-8 1/2 wide. In my opinion only kids and young teens need their feet measured since their feet are still growing. But an adult should know what size they wear. If they have to be measured at the age of 30 or something, that's just ridiculous. Trial and error...if it doesn't fit try on a different size. You are not going to wear the same size in every shoe.

I go to the store, look at the shoe, analyze it and see if I like it. Entire process last from 5-7 minutes. By now I know everything about my feet and need no help.

I try to get bargains at Shoe Dept, Shoe Studio, and Shoe Carnival, every now and then the mall if it's on sale. Payless shoes are making a come back.

I don't like being fitted for shoes, one because I honestly can not stand feet, and two it just weirds me out to have some random person putting my shoes on for me. So I usually go somewhere that has cute, cheap, comfortable shoes. Like Kohl's, Charlotte Russe, JcPenney, Macy's, or somewhere like that. :)

I go to a good store, but I don't have them fit them. Wal-mart is the DEVIL!! Don't shop there!
