I'm not a doctor but, by my experience with lumps in the breast or any other area may not be cancer I understand your mothers fear to go to the doctor but, she really needs to go, I had a lump at 16 years old in my left breast I'm now 43 and always had benign cysts on my arm and breast some are still their my doctor says I have lumpy breast but, I have a mammogram every year, has your mom had one? it's always better to seek the advise from a professional in order to be safe rather than sorry tell her to be a SOLDIER and go to the doctors she can always take someone with her maybe you? so I hope your mother takes your advise GOOD LUCK.

Your mom needs to get checked NOW ASAP! Lumps that extend from the breast and underneath the arm in alot of cases can be cancerous. I would make her go to be seen for her health as well as yours emotionally and mentally. Good Luck if you need anything IM me.

I would definatly go get checked. I haven't even felt a lump myself but I have major pain in my breast and after constant for 3 weeks I have an appointment next week because I'd rather find out now than later when it might be too late.

Not good. Very high index of suspicion that this is cancer; and at a very advanced stage. The presence of it in the armpit suggests that it has gotten into the lymph system and is starting to spread. It is still treatable, even curable, but the longer she waits to seek treatment, morbidity increases (chances of dying).
Your Mom is an adult and is entitled to make her own decisions, even bad ones. Not having this looked at is not a good decision, it certainly will not go away.
All you can do is stay on her case.

There are lymph nodes under your armpit to boot as pores (extra so in armpit). the two a variety of could be swollen. The pore could be swollen if it have been clogged. If it have been a swollen lymph node, you may pick to be regarded at. i might certainly call your well being practitioner. i does not challenge, yet i will assure it has no longer something to do with being pregnant sturdy luck!!!!!!

no, not always. but either way get your mom to a doctor.. fast. If its a tumor but not cancer it will cause alot of damage to the underling muscle and tissue...good luck and god bless.
