Sometimes that's all they know. If they don't know what better is, then they'll stay where they are familiar. The sad part is that when they figure it out, they have been dealing with the abusers for so long that they honestly think that's all they deserve.

Because some of us had some type of abuse in our lives and if we go untreated we are drawn to abusive relationships. It does suck and I want to kick myself everytime. I need the better guy in my life. A great question asked by many guys.

I think those women are only in movies
the character of women in the movies most of them like what you mentioned
but the reality, I guess people want to get the better one.
we want to get peaceful, warm in a relationship.

as said by 'sufferingdaily', it can be because of mental abuse as a child or that kind of thing, and also I think some girls like to be bossed around and treated like crap, maybe it's a insecurity thing but alot of girls do go for nice guys.. like the ones who have got their heads together and know what they want
