i mean, is that the real reason why you find it hard to be truthful and honest?

Men are not all the same. I'll speak to this subject in general terms, but know that not all men cheat.
Men who cheat and lie about cheating do so because they don't believe in the concept of romantic love where there is only that one special person. They will marry and work towards preserving that marriage, but it is okay to have intimate relations with other women at the same time. They don't look at it as betrayal because the distractions are only physical.
For men, what's important is that they go to work, pay the mortgage, pay for the children's tuition, buy the wife clothes and jewelry, and otherwise take care of the family needs. If they have an affair on the side and it is mainly recreational, they don't see it as a problem.
I don't think most men cheat because they think it's manly. I wish that were the case, then it would be a simple matter of gaining maturity and being secure in one's own manhood at which point there would be no need to cheat. Yet men from many different backgrounds and age levels have affairs.
A woman's touch and scent can be irresistible at times, leaving a man helpless, like a moth attracted to the flame.

They have a big ego, they feel that they have to prove that they still have "got it" and any attention that they get from someone else they go for it.
I am not a manhater also, I wonder the same thing and this is what I have came up.
But of course women are doing the same thing.

i think cheating and lieing to my girl is wrong and no it don't think it would make me feel manly if i were to cheat on someone. but you see its not always the guy that cheat and lieing i have never cheated on any of my girl friends. but i had 2 girls that have cheated on me. what i am trying to say is you should ask the same question to the girls do they feel sexy cuz they cheat on a guy or what? well guys aren't the only ones that cheat. I'm an outgoing guy and up for anything and if a girl wants to cheat on me then just tell me ill move on i don't need someone like you. you know what i mean? so if someone cheated on you then just move on **** him
