I stayed in Planter's Inn three years ago, it was comfortable but it smelled bad, like a leaky old building. I'd like to stay downtown within walking distance of the river. Thanks for any help.

You should stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites downtown.
Very,Very nice,and vintage.Not that its old,they just built it to look that way!
