Since 2000, George Bush has:
1. Illegally and unconstitutionally invaded another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the U.S.;
2. Massacred tens of thousands of Iraqi citizens without any justification;
3. Lied to the American public, leaked information to the press he wanted made public, then tried to censor the press when it printed things he wanted to keep secret;
4. Tarnished America's reputation as a world leader and a global peacekeeper;
5. Initiated failed economic policies that will cause a severe depression shortly after he leaves office;
6. Tortured 'detainees' without regard to the rules of the Geneva Convention, then looked the other way when those prisoners were physically, psychologically, verbally, emotionally and sexually abused;
7. Put American taxpayers TRILLIONS of dollars in debt all because of a 'war' he started so that Dick Cheney could get all that land's OIL, and because the Bush family has a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein;
8. Neglected America's poor, homeless, aged, underprivileged, sick, disadvantaged, hungry and unemployed while playing "Robin Hood in Reverse", stealing from the poor and giving to the rich, who - in turn - make generous (if not illegal) bribes (excuse me, campaign contributions) to keep the GOP in power;
9. Took obscene liberties with our Constitution, turning America into a police state wherein citizens are presumed guilty until proven innocent;
10. Killed nearly 3,000 U.S. soldiers (so far).

The better question to ask is why DOES anyone like George Bush? He should be tried for high treason and crimes against humanity in an international tribunal, and - if found guilty - should face a public firing squad. The man is the most arrogant, greedy, stupid, selfish, incompetent person ever to occupy the Oval Office. -RKO-

There are a lot of people who like Pres. Bush. Liberals hate him for a variety of reasons:

1. He is Christian and proud of his beliefs. There are a lot of Jews and Muslims in the US that hate these kinds of people.

2. The Democrats have been out of power for a while. They have politicized everything including the war. Complained without offering solutions. They just want their power back. Democrat leaders like Clinton, Kerry, etc. believe they are ordained to rule over us.

3. There are a lot of miserable people who hate decent people. They despise success. They are jealous because they are nothing themselves. I personally have cheap shots taken at me all the time for the same reasons.

4. He has done something about the thug Hussein. The UN wants to talk about it and try to negotiate, even though it does not work. You do not believe this, how about the story this week that the UN gave away Israeli troop movement and weapons in real time on their website when they were in Lebanon. The UN is a socialist order and needs to be thrown out of the US.

This covers a lot of it. Believe it or not, your call. This is the truth. I am not a partisan Republican. I simply listen to both sides and see how people behave, not what they say.

To address the factual inacuracies of RKO

1. You are flat out wrong about Iraq. Here are the facts. We defeated Iraq and the peace treaty stated that inspectors must make sure there are no WMD's. Saddam refused to let them in. This makes the treaty void. He used chemical weapons on the Kurds. He admitted he had weapons he should not have. How about you quote the law Pres. Bush broke along with the Constitutional provision he violated.

2. Massacring thousands? Sounds like Saddam. In war, people die. What about the 3000 that were killed on 9-11?

3. Specifics again. Generalities do not cut it. If you mean Valerie Plame, then look at the news. It was Richard Armitage. The whole investigation was a political sham.

4. HOW? No specifics. Who really cares what the rest of the world thinks? The UN, France, Germans can all eat a fat one.

5. We have the best economic numbers in a while. The economy has rebounded since 9-11. How do I know? I live 40 miles from NYC and have survived good and bad. What facts?

6. Terrorists do not qualify for the Geneva Convention. They must fight under a country. All the terrorists do is wear civilian clothes and bomb innocents. What torture are you referring to? No facts again. Just baseless alligations.

7. If we wanted oil, we can take it. This makes no sense. We can drill for it in the US. We can take it from any number of Middle East countries. We are not even requiring the Iraqis to repay us. BTW, Cheney does not work for Haliburton and removed himself before he ran for VP.

8. Ah hah, you are a communist. You proved it here. It is not the job of government to take people's wealth and give it away. Why don't you give your wealth away? Wait, you probably do not have any. Nothing was stolen from the poor. They did not pay federal income taxes and therefore had no claim to it. If a person earns a million a year, it is his money. Thieves like you want to steal it and give it to someone who did not earn it.

9. Prove it.

10. We have a volunteer army. They chose to go. The sad thing is they died defending your right to lie and distort everything you have said in this comment.

LEAVE THIS COUNTRY WE DO NOT WANT MISERABLE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT APPRECIATE WHAT THEY HAVE.

Many people are unhappy about the way that the Iraq war has gone, and many of them blame him for starting it under false pretenses. Which is, of course, not true; the Iraq war was never about al Qaeda, but about weapons of mass destruction. The weapons were secretly moved to Syria starting in June 2002, which is why very few have been found (As well as due to the fact that only about 250 of some 10,000 Iraqi arsenals have been checked.) Others don't like his tax policies, such as reducing capital gains tax rates, notwithstanding that collection of such taxes INCREASED by 50% at the lower rates.
