I used a USB cable to connect my PSP to my computer. I had Morpheus where I could download music to m computer, then put them into a folder outside of Morpheus so they would actually be on my computer not just in the application. I opened the folder for my PSP from the "Computer" folder and copied it into there on the memory stick.

Make sure that your music is an MP3 file (if downloaded from something like Morpheus then they will be MP3) and any movies are MP4 files. If they are not then try downloading a converter to turn them into MP3's. good luck.

First to save space change them to MP3 then you must buy a USB to connect the PSP to your computer.
In the PSP enter setting then push X on the USB connection.
in the computer open my computer & wait tell a new icon apper ( its usually called F removable hardware ) then go :
PSP > Music & paste the songs you want.
